Welcome to episode 5 of Freestyle 5. We are kicking off 2012 with a new format and some big news. We are becoming a weekly show, so we can keep up with the vast amount of killer edits coming out. Expect the same high quality interviews and product reviews to follow. So stay tuned and check in often.
For now enjoy two interviews never seen in public before. The first one is with Redbull’s Anthony Napolitan and Northeast Destroyer Brian Hunt, discussion this past years Redbull Dreamline dirt competition. The second interview is with vert legend Jamie Bestwick. We had a chance to sit down and ask Jamie some questions about his roles as a top podium contest rider and also as tv personality for the dew tour contests; and questions about where bmx has come from and where it is headed. Dew Tour Dirt Finals

‘I spoke with one of TJ Lavin’s close friends this morning and got a bit of an update on his condition. Although TJ hasn’t opened his eyes yet, he was able to follow simple commands and even gave a thumbs up when asked. This is a major improvement. As always, we’ll have more on his condition as it becomes available.

Been making progress on the contest jumps despite some problems, the dirt isnt the best to work with but were making it work. In case you didnt know the contest is free to enter so basically you can win some big money for free. If your not sure how to get there Google map the Canal Park in Allentown, its right off Hanover Ave. Other then that the weather looks good for Saturday and Sunday so come shred.

BMX star TJ Lavin remains hospitalized in critical condition with head injuries suffered during a violent crash Thursday night in qualifying rounds of a Dew Tour competition in Las Vegas.

Do The Dew

The #1 dirt jumper of the year jumped his way to the 5th spot in the prelims at the last  Dew Tour stop of the year. Click more to see more pics of Doyle and Dillewaard from Ride’s gallery from dirt qualifiers.

After a solid first run Dillewaard was looking like he was gonna make the finals.A crash in his second run kept him back in 13th spot, 4 off from making the cut.
